Relax in all seasons at Robe on the Limestone Coast in South Australia

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the weather like in summer at Robe?

A: Mild and sunny, usually about 25°C - perfect holiday weather!! If the sea water is a bit cold for a relaxing swim, you can always relax in Robe Resort's heated swim spa.

Q: What is the weather like in winter at Robe?

A: Robe winters can be cold and very windy, usually about 10°C to 15°C. The nearest land to the south is the Antarctic.

And the sun sets in mid-winter at about 5 o'clock, almost directly over Doorway Rock.  On a cloudless Robe winter afternoon, we are sure you will agree that a winter sunset is truly spectacular!

But you won't notice the wind and the cold once you're inside Robe Resort with its double-glazing, reverse-cycle heating and wood combustion heater!!

And, of course, there's always Robe Resort's heated swim spa, complete with massaging water jets.

Q: Do the cooking facilities accommodate a wheel chair user?

A: Yes they do. The induction/ceramic cooktop on the island bench has been set at wheel chair user height.

Induction cooking is extremely safe as the glass top does not get as hot as a conventional electric cooktop.

You will be shown how to use the cooktop on your arrival at Robe Resort.

There is also a small sink available on the island bench so that anyone in a wheel chair can easily prepare meals and can conveniently wash dishes by hand, if they want to.
